We’re incredibly excited to be partnering with Wave Active as part of the much-anticipated Full of Life Festival 2026, the East Sussex-wide celebration of healthy ageing and wellbeing for older adults.
For the festival, Wave Active and Hillbrow Health and Wellbeing will be delivering a free programme of useful Wave Active Health taster sessions and events across our sites through September and October. This means you can come along and experience the services and support we provide the community every day, at absolutely no cost.
The programme will also include:
This year, Wave Active is working with the National Innovation Centre for Ageing (NICA) through The 100-Year Life: What Role Can Leisure Centres Play in Longer Lives?.
This goes hand in hand with what they deliver to the community through services like those within Wave Active Health, helping people stay well, independent and confident while reducing their risk of needing interventions for health conditions later in life.
